School and Group Projects

Here at Suffolk Owl Sanctuary, we can provide a full term of activities for your group or class.

Why not book an outreach visit to the school at the start of term to introduce a topic, such as Native Wildlife, then check in with a Virtual session part way through, with an end of term visit to the Sanctuary to deliver your project to our Team?

We can provide a series of easy to carry out projects and activities that can be done at group/ in class, and can support group leaders and teachers to deliver engaging activities about the natural world.

Please contact us before you start any projects to check availability and to provisionally book in for your visits.

 Enrichment Projects

A popular activity which allows groups to think creatively is to make enrichment for some of our animals. Enrichment is something animal keepers provide to keep their animals physically and mentally stimulated.

Meerkat Postcards

Has your group read Meerkat Mail? Inspired by this popular children’s book, why not write a postcard to our Meerkats here at Suffolk Owl Sanctuary? You could tell them about your favourite food, place to visit or things to do, just like Sunny did in the story.
